Meet Fr. Paul Zoghby

Pastor of St. Margaret of Scotland (Foley, AL) since 2003


Fr. Paul Zoghby was born in Mobile, Alabama, the last of seven children to Sam and Julia Zoghby. He attended St. Catherine Elementary School and graduated McGill/Toolen High School in 1985, before entering St. Joseph Seminary College in Covington, LA, where he graduated in 1989. After Attending North American College in Rome from 1989 until 1994, he was ordained a priest in June 1993.

Fr. Zoghby obtained a Licentiate Degree in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1994. He served as Director of Catholic Charities and Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese of Mobile from 1997 until 2003. He is currently Pastor of St. Margaret Parish in Foley after serving as Associate Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Mobile for 10 years.
